According to exclusive reporting from Laura Ingraham on Fox News, investigators are focusing on Schiff’s repeated false claims that a Maryland property he purchased in 2003 was his “primary residence”—despite the fact that he continued to vote in California and maintained a condominium there as well.
Between 2009 and 2013, Schiff refinanced the Maryland home at least four times, each time affirming in signed and notarized affidavits that the house was his principal residence. These claims allowed him to obtain preferential rates and tax exemptions. After a House Ethics probe flagged the discrepancy in 2009, Schiff admitted “error” and paid back the exempt taxes—but continued making the same fraudulent claims in subsequent years.
President Trump slammed Schiff last month on Truth Social, stating:
“Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me and everyone else — the only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT. IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!”
Trump also published a screenshot of a signed affidavit from Schiff, directly contradicting his voter registration and property ownership claims.
Explosive Criminal Referral Details 16 Years of Fraud
Laura Ingraham also revealed she had obtained a DOJ criminal referral submitted by Housing Director Bill Pulte accusing Schiff of a 16-year pattern of falsifying bank documents, misrepresenting occupancy status, and manipulating loan applications to obtain favorable financial terms. Pulte called it “textbook mortgage fraud”—the kind for which everyday Americans would face immediate prosecution.
While mainstream outlets have largely ignored the case, alternative media have continued to break new evidence suggesting Schiff knowingly gamed the mortgage system while simultaneously posturing as a paragon of “truth” and “democracy.”
Letitia James’ Web of Mortgage Lies Exposed
New York Attorney General Letitia James, best known for her politicized legal attacks on Donald Trump, is now under criminal investigation herself. According to a federal referral filed by the Trump administration’s Department of Justice, James misrepresented her Brooklyn apartment building as a four-unit property—when official records show it has five units.
This misrepresentation was not a one-off. James allegedly claimed the lower unit count on multiple mortgage applications over two decades, enabling her to qualify for better loan terms and participate in federal programs only available for four-unit properties. This includes a 2011 HAMP modification loan that saved her tens of thousands of dollars annually.
FHFA Director Bill Pulte added that James falsely claimed her Virginia property was her “primary residence,” a misrepresentation that could constitute further mortgage fraud under federal law.
But perhaps the most shocking revelation comes from records suggesting that James may have falsified marital status to secure a loan in 1983. A real estate loan filed in New York City shows Letitia James and her father, Robert James, listed as “husband and wife.” James’ mother, Nellie James, is still living—raising serious questions about whether the claim was a clerical error or an intentional fraud.
A Two-Tiered System of Justice? Not Anymore
With the appointment of Ed Martin as special prosecutor, President Trump and Attorney General Bondi are signaling that the days of Democrat impunity may be coming to an end. Martin has a long history of challenging corrupt systems and is expected to pursue the case with vigor.
The investigations into Schiff and James follow a larger Trump administration crackdown on weaponized government agencies. Both figures were central players in efforts to politically target Trump—Schiff as the architect of the Russia hoax and James as the New York prosecutor trying to dissolve Trump’s business empire.
