Capitol Hill was rocked Tuesday morning by the release of never-before-seen military surveillance footage showing an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) seemingly shrugging off a U.S. Hellfire missile like it weighed nothing at all. The footage, captured by an MQ-9 Reaper drone off the coast of Yemen on October 30, 2024, shows a glowing orb splitting a 100-pound missile mid-air before accelerating away at speeds no known human technology could achieve.

The startling video was unveiled by Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) during a congressional hearing on UAPs titled “Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection.”

Task Force Chairwoman Slams Federal Stonewalling
Chairwoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), leading the hearing, minced no words about the intelligence community’s history of obfuscation:

“In today’s UAP hearing, we revealed new military surveillance video showing a UAP splitting a Hellfire missile in mid-air. Not a single witness was aware of any U.S. military technology capable of such a feat. Every witness described the footage as extremely scary.”

Luna detailed her own efforts to investigate military UAP activity, citing whistleblower accounts from Eglin Air Force Base and elsewhere. Many pilots remain silent out of fear of losing flight status or jeopardizing careers — a culture of intimidation she called unacceptable.

“We cannot protect our airspace if our best-trained observers are silenced. We cannot advance science if we refuse to ask questions. And we cannot maintain trust in government if we keep the American people in the dark,” Luna stated.

Whistleblower Testimonies Paint Chilling Picture
Three decorated veterans provided firsthand accounts of encounters with unidentified craft:

Jeffrey Nuccetelli, a 16-year Air Force military police veteran, described witnessing giant triangle ships, glowing cubes larger than football fields, and the infamous “Tic-Tac” craft. He accused the Air Force of deliberately destroying incident reports every three years to erase the paper trail.
Dylan Borland, a former Air Force geospatial intelligence specialist, revealed that his career was derailed after reporting a 100-foot triangular craft at Langley AFB in 2012. He described blacklisting, clearance manipulation, and phishing attacks orchestrated by intelligence operatives.
Alexandro Wiggins, U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, recounted a February 2023 encounter aboard the USS Jackson where four Tic-Tac objects emerged from the Pacific Ocean and accelerated away in formation at incredible speeds — without sonic booms or engine trails.

Congressional Outrage at Government Cover-Up
The hearing also featured commentary from former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Chris Mellon, who condemned a recent ARRO report as “error-ridden” and unsatisfactory. According to Mellon, the report omitted agencies with known UAP investigations, excluded expert input, and failed to address systemic efforts to conceal information from Congress and the public.

Thirty-four senior military, intelligence, and government officials have now broken silence on UAPs, including Senators Rubio, Rounds, and Gillibrand, former director of the UAP task force Sean Kirpatrick, and former secretaries of defense. Senator Rubio commented in an upcoming documentary, Age of Disclosure:

“Even presidents have been operating on a need-to-know basis, but that begins to spin out of control.”

A Threat Beyond Science Fiction
The Hellfire missile incident off Yemen underscores the urgent need to understand UAPs as potential threats to U.S. national security. The fact that conventional weaponry proved ineffective against the glowing orb challenges everything known about aerospace technology.

For Luna, the evidence is clear: Congress must act.

“These are not simply sightings. These are advanced technologies operating in our airspace that we cannot explain. It is time for fundamental truths around UAP to be revealed to our nation’s leaders and the public.”

As the Pentagon and intelligence agencies continue to stonewall, whistleblowers and congressional oversight may be the only paths to disclosure. With footage like this now public, the conversation about UAPs is no longer fringe — it is central to national security, scientific inquiry, and the future of American airspace.
