“They’re Under There Watching Us” — Lawmaker Says Navy Encounters Reveal Underwater Alien Presence
Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett has once again made waves in Washington and beyond, claiming that extraterrestrial beings may be operating from as many as five or six underwater bases off the U.S. coastline. Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Committee investigating Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), made the startling remarks in a recent conversation with UFO researcher Red Panda Koala, a clip that has since gone viral across social media.

The congressman’s statement aligns with testimony from multiple whistleblowers and UAP witnesses who claim the Navy has long known about submerged craft and possibly ancient underwater bases. UFO researcher Dr. Michael Salla, appearing on the Redacted podcast, pointed to the Tongue of the Ocean in the Bahamas—a 3,000-foot deep trench near Andros Island—believed by insiders to conceal one of these bases. That region also hosts the Navy’s Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC), often referred to as the “Area 51 of the ocean.”

Salla cited a whistleblower known only as “JP,” who claimed he was flown by Black Hawk helicopter to a floating ocean platform and then transported aboard a high-tech submarine crewed by tall, Nordic-looking extraterrestrials. According to JP’s testimony, the craft was capable of both undersea and space travel, taking him to a domed underwater city illuminated by a massive white pyramid—where he was tasked with recovering an “artifact of unknown origin.”

An Orb That Survived a Hellfire Missile
Burchett’s statements follow a September 9 House Oversight hearing, where UAP whistleblowers described encounters that defy known physics. One particularly chilling account involved an orb-like craft that absorbed a direct hit from a Hellfire missile—only to split into four smaller objects and continue flying. The congressman said these events underscore the seriousness of the issue: “These things have been here long before we started noticing them. We need to stop pretending they don’t exist.”

The Deep State’s Ocean Secrets?
Some investigators believe that these revelations go far beyond UFO curiosity and touch on deep-state secrecy and black-budget programs. AUTEC, a Navy facility surrounded by mystery for decades, is rumored to host experiments in exotic propulsion systems—possibly reverse-engineered from recovered alien craft. If true, these programs would represent one of the greatest deceptions in U.S. military history, hidden behind layers of classified funding and scientific obfuscation.

Prophetically, the possibility of ancient or non-human entities dwelling beneath the seas aligns with biblical warnings. Burchett’s comments come as lawmakers continue pressing the Pentagon for declassification of UAP files, many of which remain heavily redacted or withheld. Despite bipartisan calls for transparency, intelligence agencies have been slow to cooperate. “We’re not getting the truth,” Burchett has said repeatedly, accusing federal agencies of running “a massive cover-up.”
