Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has provided extensive testimony before the House Oversight Committee regarding his past relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, acknowledging that he made a serious error in associating with Epstein while insisting he never witnessed or participated in any sexual misconduct.
According to testimony released by congressional investigators, Gates said he met with Epstein between 2011 and 2014 after being told Epstein might be able to assist with fundraising efforts for global health initiatives. Gates acknowledged he was already aware of Epstein’s prior criminal conviction when the relationship began but described the meetings as focused on philanthropy.
During questioning, Gates testified that he never knowingly interacted with Epstein’s victims, although he acknowledged he may have unknowingly been in their presence during some meetings. He also confirmed seeing female employees working for Epstein while traveling on Epstein’s aircraft.

One of the most notable portions of Gates’ testimony involved his admission that Epstein learned about his extramarital affairs and attempted to use that information to pressure him into maintaining their relationship.
Gates identified three women with whom he acknowledged having affairs during his marriage: bridge player Mila Antonova, nuclear physicist Karima Nigmatulina, and physician Dr. Alice Jacobs Nesselrodt.
According to Gates, longtime associate Dr. Boris Nikolic shared information about his personal life that eventually reached Epstein.
“It was after this that I learned Epstein had become aware of sensitive information about my personal life,” Gates testified, adding that Epstein appeared to be moving toward an attempt at blackmail.
Gates stated that those efforts ultimately failed but said the experience demonstrated Epstein’s willingness to leverage personal information for his own purposes.
Throughout the testimony, Gates repeatedly expressed regret over his association with Epstein.
“I should never have met with Epstein in the first place,” Gates told investigators.
The testimony also revisits longstanding questions surrounding Gates’ continued meetings with Epstein after Epstein’s 2008 conviction. Gates maintained that he believed the meetings centered on philanthropic discussions and denied participating in or witnessing any criminal activity.
Some reports have also revisited allegations that Gates hoped Epstein’s connections might help advance his international philanthropic reputation, including speculation regarding the Nobel Peace Prize. Those claims originate from anonymous former employees and media reporting and have not been independently confirmed by congressional investigators.
The release of the testimony is expected to renew public scrutiny of the relationships Epstein maintained with numerous high-profile political, financial, and business leaders before his 2019 death while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.
Congressional investigators continue reviewing documents and testimony connected to Epstein’s extensive network of associates. At this time, Gates has not been charged with any crime related to his association with Epstein.

Prophetic Perspective
The Epstein scandal continues to remind many believers of the dangers of wealth, influence, and secrecy. Scripture repeatedly teaches that hidden deeds eventually come to light. Luke 8:17 declares, “For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.” Regardless of status or power, every individual is ultimately accountable before God.
