Washington: Dr. James P. Miller, a trauma and critical-care surgeon who worked at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, told a September 28 Senate roundtable that he witnessed what he described as harmful COVID-19 hospital protocols, alleged fraud and retaliation after he raised concerns. The hospital treated the first confirmed U.S. COVID-19 patient in January 2020.
Miler’s Allegations: Miller told Sen. Ron Johnson’s panel that hospital leadership provided misleading information about remdesivir and that he witnessed COVID-19 reporting and treatment practices he believed caused harm. He also alleged that the hospital’s infectious-disease chief discussed working with Washington officials to restrict the rights of unvaccinated people.
Those claims remain Miller’s allegations. Available reporting does not establish them as proven findings against the hospital or individual physicians. Miller previously made related allegations in a written declaration signed under penalty of perjury.
The Rendesivir Debate: Remdesivir remains an important part of the pandemic’s disputed medical history. The FDA approved it for hospitalized COVID-19 patients in October 2020, while the WHO later issued a conditional recommendation against its use in hospitalized patients, citing insufficient evidence of improved survival.
Prophecy Watch: The Bible calls believers to seek truth and remain watchful. These allegations do not establish biblical prophecy, but they raise questions about accountability, authority and public trust.
